Ludwig shows he's not afraid of a few Boo-Diddleys. I really like this picture because of the shading. Vilmary has the ability to draw cartoony, but make it look mature. It's hard for me to explain. Plus, it also helps that she picked my favorite character of all time as her subject for this pic. It's difficult for me to look at this pic and not go, "Who you gonna call??" At least she draws him as a musician though and not as a dreaded scientist. Sorry, I just don't dig that. Sigh...he's so dreamy. |
I'm not sure what Mouser is doing in this pic, but it looks like he's up to no good. Vilmary's Mouser was done in a somewhat "punk" style, which is always nice and different to see. I believe she was influenced by another popular Nintendo fan-artist on Mouser's style. I admit, Mouser isn't a favorite character of mine, but this drawing is sweet. I never imagined him with hair though. Very '80's metal style. Rock on, dude. |
When I first saw this image, I was like "Wow, holy crap!" It easily became one of my favorite Koopa related drawings ever. Just everything about it is awesome, including the whole celestial theme and the fading out of their robes. Again, Vilmary's use of shading rocks. ...There I go, trying to sound like I know what the hell I'm talking about when it comes to art! I'll just stick to writing, but to make a long story short, I heart this image. I only wish she'd color it!!! |
Mad World: Kamek & Monika |
This gorgeous pic is based on the characters from my Diary Entries of Kamek Tirro fanfiction. If you've never read it, then you'll have no idea who the figure with her back to you is. Go read it then! Once again, Vilmary's use of shading is awesome, and the splash of blue on Kamek's robe adds a nice touch. This particular scene is based on one of the later chapters in my story, where Kamek meets Monika (a.k.a. Ludwig's mom) on a balcony and the two share an intimate moment. The artist also added some fitting "lyrics" too. Another favorite image of mine. Vilmary rocks. |
The Legend of Zelda: Link's in Trouble |
Here's another pic by Vilmary, where it looks like Link's about to get his ass whooped by the black, red-eyed monster thing. I like the Photoshop work she's done on this piece. I've had Photoshop for years and can barely figure out how to resize images. Anyway, this is just a cool image. ...And is that blood on Link's sword?? You go, boy! |
The Diary Entries of Kamek Tirro Movie Poster |
If I could ever make a movie out of any of my stories, this one would be it. This potential poster has some lines from one of the recent diary entries, with some of the main characters in the background. Totally sweet piece of art. I just wish Vilmary would color it in! |
